Second Annual Radiant Systems Sprint for Cancer Raises More Than $20,000

400 runners and volunteers raise awareness for local cancer fundraising and volunteer organization

DALLAS (April 22, 2010) — The Radiant Charity Corporation, the nonprofit organization supported by Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS), today announced that the second annual Radiant Systems Sprint for Cancer road race raised more than $20,000 for Young Texans Against Cancer. More than 400 runners and volunteers participated in the 5K race and family fun walk/run on April 17 at Lake Carolyn in Las Colinas (Irvine).

“We are excited to see the continued success of Sprint for Cancer and the way that Radiant has been able to impact cancer awareness and prevention in the metroplex and across our state,” said Paul Langenbahn, Radiant Systems’ executive sponsor for Sprint for Cancer’s Dallas race and a member of Young Texans Against Cancer. “Radiant employees truly embody the company’s mission to help those in need in our local communities, and Sprint for Cancer is one of the many ways that we do this each year.”

The Radiant Systems’ Sprint for Cancer race is orchestrated by a combination of Dallas-based Radiant employees, Young Texans Against Cancer members and community volunteers. This year’s race was complete with family-friendly events at Lake Carolyn in conjunction with the 5K race and family fun run courses that emanated from the lake on Saturday morning.

“Young Texans Against Cancer is grateful that events like Sprint for Cancer continue to spread the message of our organization and support our efforts to help those in our state who have been affected by cancer,” said Shawn Walsh, president of the Dallas chapter of Young Texans Against Cancer. “We truly appreciate the dedication and hard work of the people at Radiant in making Sprint for Cancer a success.”

Special thanks go out to all of the sponsors for this event:
