Film Booking
Booking a film to an available "slot" in a theatre is an ongoing, tedious process. Each week, new films are released, and for each theatre in the circuit, a new release may need to replace an existing title that is already booked. Additionally, an existing title may "hold" and continue to play in the next week. Film Booking simplifies this process and provides exceptional flexibility and control when booking your theatres.
Key features include:
- Movie titles - add and maintain movie titles in a central database
- Film buyers/bookers - assign film buyers and booking assistants to the theatres for which they are responsible
- Studios - add and maintain studios in a central database. Define studio payment aging criteria so that settlements to studios are scheduled and calculated. Interface to accounting systems for automated accruals and payment terms
- Divisions and branches - associate each theatre with divisions and branches
- House allowance - set and track all studio/theatre/screen house allowances. Maintain historical records for trend analysis
- Tentative releases - input tentative release and inform theatres of a future release
- Aspect ratio/digital sound - maintain aspect ratio and digital sound associated with specific film titles
