S337 Server
Radiant’s newest platform offers retailers the opportunity to move forward with the latest CPU technologies that support multi-core processing. The S337 platform is built on an Intel® Q35 Express Chipset, with support for either a Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processor option. Other features provided by the Q35 chipset include an integrated Trusted Platform Module, support for vPro technology, and Intel® Active Management Technology. Along with the increase in raw processing power the S337 offers DDR2 800 MHz SDRAM and can be configured for support of up to 4 GB of system memory. Port interfaces available on the S337 include 6 rear and 2 front access USB 2.0 ports, VGA and DVI interfaces, and a 10/100/1000 network connection. Standard on the S337 is a 160 GB 7200 RPM hard drive with 8 MB of cache. The S337 is a highly configurable and flexible platform, leveraging the on-board RAID controller to support RAID 0, 1, or 5 arrays. RAID arrays can be configured on the S337 using internally mounted hard drives or removable hard drive bays, which provide an attractive option for easy return to service. The 400W auto-switching power supply can support input from US and International AC power. This platform has a standard enclosure with dimensions 17.3 in H x 19.5 in D x 7.8 in W (440 mm H x 495 D mm x 198 mm W). The S337 is designed to be extremely versatile. It can be configured as a thin client, web kiosk, multimedia information station, site controller, point-of-sale workstation, firewall and more. It is designed to help retailers reduce their total cost of ownership, as well as lower administration and support costs.
